Shoe Brands: Seychelles

Friday, March 2nd, 2012

Leap year has us springing forward for Seychelles’ sophisticated silhouettes and nostalgic nudes. With the Investigate bow-top flats or the Case Closed suede wedges you’ll be solving New York’s latest mystery: where did that snowy Winter go?

Make way for Spring cleaning and replace grey skies with Seychelles’ Haven’t Got a Worry heels in Grey or go nude with the platform sandals in Vacchetta. Embrace the breeze and let your toes breathe.

If you’re not quite ready to let your toes out but have Good Intentions, the T-Strap wedges will keep things fun and flirty with a hatched, closed-toe  in Orange or Black leather. Accented with a four and a half inch wooden wedge and comfy cushioned footbeds these versatile sandals are just the right fit for any occasion.

Seychelles’ classic elegance offers a lavish selection to put that Spring back in your step for the changing of the seasons. With mysteries solved, no worries and good intentions march into March as a natural beauty and you’ll be sure to attract the bees.

Brand of the Day: Bebe 30% Off

Wednesday, November 23rd, 2011

bebe

Since we do TWO ‘Brands of the Day’ every day, we think it’s only fair to do one sneaker brand and one fancy footwear brand: bebe. Bebe will be on sale for 30% off starting today and lasting until Nov. 30th so get your holiday party heels now! Don’t wait until December to save on the latest high heels, wedges, and boots.

Bebe designs, develops and produces a distinctive line of contemporary women’s apparel and accessories under the sub-brands bebe, BEBE SPORT, 2b bebe, and bebe outlet. The bebe revolution began in San Francisco in1976, founded by Manny Mashouf, who saw a gap in the fashion industry. In the 70′s, clothing categories were set between juniors and bridge and provocative clothing was yet to be invented. Mashouf wanted to offer women a chance to wear age-appropriate clothing, which would flatter and make them feel good about themselves, thus he created bebe. What many don’t know about the brand is that the name was inspired by the Shakespearean quote “to be or not to be”, and was a call for women to make statements with their clothing.

Make your statement with DNA Footwear and  bebe today!

Brand of the Day: Blowfish 30% Off

Friday, November 11th, 2011

dna footwear

Welcome to the beginning of what will be the two best shoe months of your life. Why you ask? Well, let me tell you….

Every day we will be hosting a ‘Brand of the Day”, which will be discounted to 30% off and each sale will run for one week. Meaning, there will be FIVE ‘Brands of the Day’ per week… Aka FIVE Sales! And who doesn’t like sales on the hottest shoe brands?!

The first ‘Brand of the Day’ is Blowfish, a fairly new shoe company designed by famous footwear designers, including Rocketdog, Esprit, Sam & Libby, Hippopotamus, Aerosoles and David Aaron. The casual shoe line consists of flats, sandals, boots, and wedges all of which are popular in Europe and Australia, quickly making their debut here in America. Sticking with a fairly neutral palette of blacks, browns, nudes, and grays, the collection fits well into your fall wardobe –that is, unless you choose to go against the trend grain and incorporate brights into a typically “earthy” season.

Don’t wait until the end of the week to score on today’s ‘Brand of the Day’ because Blowfish will be going, going, gone!

Catch a Prince with Classy Wedge Heels!

Thursday, June 9th, 2011

Last month, audiences worldwide were captivated by a storybook royal wedding.  Kate Middleton, a common Brit of humble backgrounds, married her beloved Prince William, making her the new Duchess of Cambridge.

The day after the couple bonded in matrimony, Kate took a stroll with her new hubby in this elegant outfit:

Kate Middleton wedge shoes

Kate’s slender blue dress and snappy black blazer gives her an air of aristocracy but her simple black wedges eliminate any sense of snobbery.  The duchess’s wardrobe gives us a very clear message to women everywhere; if you want to catch a prince, live in a castle AND look the part– keep it simple, silly! The easiest way to achieve this look on your own is to find a pair of classy black wedges like the Chelsea Crew Jane High Wedge Bootie.

Blow away your own prince charming with this put-together look.
