While we covet designer brands like Burberry, our budgets don’t exact always match our taste (ok, so they NEVER do). Thank god for brands such as Jeffrey Campbell who save our footwear dreams from crumbling!
Don’t be confused with our other daily post about copyright infringement because there are some obvious differences between the $895 Burberry’s and the $199.99 Jeffrey Campbell’s:
One. The Burberry wedges only have one buckle (you’d think for more money, they’d have more buckles but hey what do we know?!)
Two. The cut of the ankle is different with the Burberry showing off more skin.. Ooo La La!
Three. The outsole and midsole of the Jeffrey Campbell wedges are flat.
Four. The price tag

ShoeDazzle.com is a shopping site co-created by reality TV Star Kim Kardashian, offering customers a personalized shopping experience where customers pay a small monthly fee ($39.95) and receive a monthly pair of shoes personalized to fit their style. Several celebrity stylists are on hand at ShoeDazzle to help customers pick out shoes, jewelry, and bags suited just for him or her.
Richards is not the first celebrity tapped to design for ShoeDazzle; gossip blogger Perez Hilton was also recruited earlier this season to design two pairs of statement-making shoes (one for men and one for women) with profits going to the gay, lesbian, and bi-sexual charity, Stonewall. (See Blog Feature Here)
Much anticipation will build for fashionistas and Denise Richard Fans everywhere as they wait patiently to see what amazing shoes the actress will come up with! Richards recently tweeted her fans: “I’m so excited I designed a shoe for ShoeDazzle.com. Cant wait ‘til it launches!” (Neither can we!)

Sergio Rossi knows how to make a luxurious shoe –the high-end designer prides itself on craftsmanship, shoe quality, design, creativity, lux materials, and comfort. Each shoe is said to undergo a minimum of 120 steps before being placed in the box, ready to be sold to a very happy customer.

For starters, the gorgeous Cachet Crocodile pump is coated in 22 carat cold or silver leaf, which makes up for $9,825 of the price. Suddenly, the insane pricing of this shoe is starting to actually make sense@

It’s not too often you see a high-end designers make anything eco-friendly, but Manolo Blahnik recently announced a new eco-friendly line that is sure to please!
Manolo Blahnik recently teamed up with award winning, eco-friendly fashion designer, Marcia Patmos to create Earth-conscious sandals for spring, based on Manolo Blahnik classics.
These sandals, styles including heels and flats, are made of raffia and cork, as well as discarded Tilapia skin — all of which are considered sustainable materials. The styles available are the double-strap flat as well as a gorgeous, sophisticated open-toed pump. Both styles come in a combination of fluorescent yellow, ecru, black, and electric blue.
In discussing the collaboration, designer Marcia Patmos said, “I am always researching sustainable materials and developments. I love the idea of tilapia skin because it is a by-product of the food industry that would otherwise be discarded, but it’s actually a beautiful material perfect for small leather goods. I love bringing the idea of sustainability into the luxury market — it doesn’t have to be limited to T-shirts and grocery bags.”
These luxurious, unique sandals will be available in Manolo Blahnik stores in 2012, retailing at $895 a pair.

It seems only fitting that Melissa shoes, the well-known vegan shoe line from Brazil, teams up with Gareth Pugh, the eccentric yet celebrated designer based in Paris, to create a shoe line that everyone is talking about. The rubber soles are not only bright and youthful, but they are the perfect addition to any woman’s closet. The collection features two styles, the first is a ballet flat with a zig-zag pop print (shown above). The second style is a flat gladiator-style shoe with an exoskeleton edge. The color combination for this style comes in black, silver and white.
For those of you who are fans of Gareth Pugh, but you can’t afford his pieces, this is the perfect opportunity to snatch up one of his designs. The design esthetics of the shoes are equally exciting and bold, but they won’t break your bank since they start at $110.
Keep your feet eco-chic with the Melissa + Gareth Pugh collection. Click here for more Melissa shoes.
The Melissa + Gareth Pugh collection is also available at Seven New York.

‘Tis the season to color block with black and orange — The DNA Footwear team and Jeffrey Campbell are getting into the holiday spirit.
The ever-so-alluring Jeffrey Campbell Night Walk High Platform confuses and entices onlookers with its “phantom” heel. The rounded edges call for geometric hard lines to balance out the platform curvature. Hence today’s ‘Perfect Pair’ post, all of which is available at DSW, Net-a-Porter, Endless, Zappos, Far Fetch, Saks, and Bloomingdales.
{Outfit 1}
Off to a day in the city, an industry event, or a gallery opening? No matter where the day or night takes you, pair your Night Walk High Platforms with an orange fitted blazer, blue trousers, a tucked-in black long-sleeve shirt, and geometric bag and earrings. Warning: This outfit is only for the most adventurous fashion enthusiast.
Blazer, Earrings, Bag, Shirt, Trousers
{Outfit 2}
A little less over the top than outfit 1, outfit 2 again follows our orange motif with a slinky dress, geometric necklace and earrings, and woven clutch. While this outfit isn’t as over-the-top as the first, it is subtly attention-grabbing.
