Charlotte Olympia New York fans rejoice! Charlotte Olympia is opening her first boutique in NYC! No official date or place has been set but it’s rumored to open late January in Uptown Manhattan.
The London Based designer, Charlotte Dellal, launched her eponymous brand Charlotte Olympia in 2007. The brand focuses on creating exquisite, glamorous shoes with feminine detail in classic shapes. Each shoe is handcrafted in Italy using the finest materials with the trademark of the gold spider web on the sole of the shoe. Coveted by many, including celebrities Sarah Jessica Parker, Blake Lively, Beyonce, Keira Knightley, Katy Perry, and soon to be you!
For those fans who cannot wait until late January to shop Charlotte Olympia, they can also be purchased at Bergdorf Goodman, Harrods, Neiman Marcus, and Net-A-Porter.

There is a footwear epidemic sweeping the nation (ok, maybe just Hollywood) and its ringleader is Minnetonka. ShoeDazzle will now include a special shoe created by Wild Things and James Bond actress, Denise Richards.
ShoeDazzle.com is a shopping site co-created by reality TV Star Kim Kardashian, offering customers a personalized shopping experience where customers pay a small monthly fee ($39.95) and receive a monthly pair of shoes personalized to fit their style. Several celebrity stylists are on hand at ShoeDazzle to help customers pick out shoes, jewelry, and bags suited just for him or her.
Richards is not the first celebrity tapped to design for ShoeDazzle; gossip blogger Perez Hilton was also recruited earlier this season to design two pairs of statement-making shoes (one for men and one for women) with profits going to the gay, lesbian, and bi-sexual charity, Stonewall. Much anticipation will build for fashionistas and Denise Richard Fans everywhere as they wait patiently to see what amazing shoes the actress will come up with! Richards recently tweeted her fans: “I’m so excited I designed a shoe for ShoeDazzle.com. Cant wait ‘til it launches!” (Neither can we!)

I may be a girl but I know a thing or two about what I want to see on my (imaginary) man: Red Wing boots a la David Beckham. Did I mention that I wouldn’t mind if David Beckham happened to come along with with the 1907 Heritage Classic Lifestyle Moc Boots?

December 6, 2011– Today marks the launch of Cheryl Cole’s first shoe collection for fashion website Stylistpick. The stiletto, boot, platform, and flat-filled collection with range from approx. $125-$187 and will feature unique style names including Cheryl (obviously), Glam Slam, and Your Royal Hotness.
We may have a personal affinity for the leopard booties and the faux fur boots but don’t ask Cheryl about her favorites because the style maven just can’t decide. It’s no surprise with a shoe collection larger than 2,000 that a girl just can’t play favorites — she’s an equal shoe opportunist.
Constantly demanding attention, Cole’s collection is cohesive with her fashion attitude but we’re not sure it’ll make the “huge fashion impact” she had in mind…

It’s time to step out of the confines of Orange County for Rachel Bilson, who unveils her first shoe collection and website Friday. Bilson teams up with long-time stylist Nicole Chavez, Steve Madden, and BeachMint to launch ShoeMint, a customized shoe-shopping site. The 30-year-old actress, formerly known by fans as Summer, is a permaent front row fashion show attendee, meaning it was only a matter of time before she tried her hand at design. Inspired by the fashion community, Bilson joins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Kate Bosworth, and Jessica Simpson in the “mint” experience.
ShoeMint launches Friday and will cater to affordable fashion seekers. The collection will be priced at $79.99 and will include leather and suede, embodying Steve Madden’s craftmenship and design.
When discussing her upcoming endeavor, Bilson remarked, “As a designer, I’m always exploring new mediums and footwear is a category I’ve always been very passionate about, especially since I’m only a size 5. More and more, people are shopping for shoes online and with BeachMint, I have the opportunity to design not just the shoes, but the full experience for our customers, which feels more personal and rewarding for me.”

Celebrities like Sienna Miller inspire us to dream big, work hard, and shop even harder. The actress slash model was recently spotted rocking slouchy sandstone strappy boots on THREE separate occasions – she must really love those boots (and those jeans).
While we don’t advise wearing them every day (nobody likes a repeat offender), Miller shows us how easy these boots transition from one jean and slouchy sweater combo to the next. Monday night was Glamour’s 2011 Women of Year Award. Although the event celebrates the empowerment of women, we at DNA Footwear believe this is the perfect opportunity for these amazing women to put their best foot forward. And by their best foot forward, we mean displaying their oh-so-fabulous shoes. Quite a few celebrities caught our attention when they donned their sky-high stilettos on the red carpet and across the stage at Carnegie Hall. Here are our favorites:
First, we have Jennifer Lopez, who took home the most prestigious award of the evening, Glamour’s Woman of the Year. Lopez wore a gorgeous pair of Jimmy Choo heels to go with her gold Atelier Versace gown. We love these classic gold stilettos.
Next, Kerry Washington decides to go neutral in her Louboutin heels. We love a great pair of nude pumps, and these are no exception. They are totally chic, and they add a hint of polish.
Finally, we became obsessed with Jennifer Aniston’s Celine elegant sandals. Not only do they make her legs look incredible, but they are the most sophisticatedly sexy heels we have ever seen. Take notes from her ladies, because this how you do sexy.
