Palladium was founded in 1920 in the fledgling aviation industry to make tires.  Their expertise was so advanced that soon the majority of Europe’s aircraft were using Palladium tires. After World War I, the demand for tires died down, thus Palladium decided to open a plant in Pont De Cheruy, France to start producing footwear.
As the Nylon Nov. 2011 Diary states, “For winter ’11 Palladium introduces the Pilot Collection, featuring 100 percent Australian wool linings for soft comfort and winter warmth. With the signature fold-over collar, these boots are as functional as they are stylish.”
Leave it to Nylon to feature only the best of the best in their Diary.

Since it’s Friday we figured we’d inspire you for your weekend wardrobe with a street style footwear edition roundup. Street Style photography blogs like Mr Newton, The Locals, Street Peeper, Face Hunter, Jak and Jil, Hanneli, and The Sartorialist have continuously inspired us to push footwear boundaries.
It’s easy to get lost among a crowd at Fashion Week but when you’re going about your day walking to and from the city only to be approached by a street style photographer, you’ve made it. Grabbing the eye of a photographer isn’t always easy but when you’re wearing eye popping shoes you’re sure to be snapped. Think bold, bright, and atypical with your footwear and you will see your face (or feet) among the street style elite.

There is a footwear epidemic sweeping the nation (ok, maybe just Hollywood) and its ringleader is Minnetonka. From Kate Moss to Lindsay Lohan, celebrities strut their street style for the cameras, sporting Minnetonka boots and booties. These moccasins were invented long before Kate Moss stopped eating and Lohan went to jail (for the fifth time) and will be here long after this trend has come and gone — which we don’t foresee in the near future.
The boots are perfect for a quick trip to the newsstand to pick up your weekly tabloids or for a weekend music festival. Easy to match with nearly anything you’ll find comfort in the ultra-soft suede, which only gets softer over time. Leave your stilettos behind and show your casual side with Minnetonka (paparazzi not included).

I may be a girl but I know a thing or two about what I want to see on my (imaginary) man: Red Wing boots a la David Beckham. Did I mention that I wouldn’t mind if David Beckham happened to come along with with the 1907 Heritage Classic Lifestyle Moc Boots?
These rugged boots make even the most effeminate man look masculine. The timeless style and durability make Red Wings instant classics, perfect for gallivanting (do men gallivant?) in the woods or rushing off to the airport like Beckham. If you want to look even more like David Beckham, minus Victoria on your arm, pair the boots with jeans or cakis and a v-neck tee. Don’t forget the beanie, which adds to your “I just got out of bed” look.

Palladium was founded in 1920 in the fledgling aviation industry to make tires. Â Their expertise was so advanced that soon the majority of Europe’s aircraft were using Palladium tires. After World War I, the demand for tires died down, thus Palladium decided to open a plant in Pont De Cheruy, France to start producing footwear. Soon, the legendary Pampa boot was born from their infamous tires.
Today, the time-tested design are as relevant as ever, combining over 60 years of authenticity with modern manufacturing. The Palladium Pampa Tacti boots are here and ready to help you dance like Chris Brown. Ok, maybe that’s a bit of stretch but we can dream can’t we? Chris Brown and his entourage recently hit the stage wearing a spread of Palladium styles with Brown himself wearing the Palladium Pampa Tacti boots. Bown is looking fffresh in the Palladium Pampa Tacti boots, so why not treat yourself?! Oh and by the by, the dancers and entourage cost extra.

If you’re an avid ELLE Magazine reader, then you know what’s hot for December: bows. From Stella McCartney to Valentino, designers are playing with feminine detailing in clothing and accessory styles.
This holiday season, ditch the glitter and sequins and soften your look with DNA Footwear. You may have a hard edge to you, leaning towards spikes and stud,s but we all know the holidays are about tenderness and these flats and heels (politely) scream daintiness.
Pair your bow-tiful new heels or flats with a less dainty outfit, meaning skip the matching bow dress AND bow handbag AND bow earrings…you get the point. It’s not about going overboard with the bows, instead make small details matter with a pop of femininity.

Celebrities like Sienna Miller inspire us to dream big, work hard, and shop even harder.  The actress slash model was recently spotted rocking slouchy sandstone strappy boots on THREE separate occasions – she must really love those boots (and those jeans).
While we don’t advise wearing them every day (nobody likes a repeat offender), Miller shows us how easy these boots transition from one jean and slouchy sweater combo to the next. Unlike Miller, try wearing the boots not only with jeans but also with a boho dress or even crimson red chords.  Wear the OTBT Noblesville Flat Ankle Boot mid-calf or rolled down for a slouchy “I don’t have time to strap myself in” look.
What you need to know about OTBT Noblesville: The soft leather crafts the ankle bootie upper and gets cinched with slightly contrasting straps that sport the hardware bling of metal buckles. A long inside zipper gets you in easily, while the comfort of that flat outsole keeps you there!

It’s 1 pm and after hours of endless blog reading, fashion blogger Blonde Bedhead caught our attention.
According to self-proclaimed “PR Pro” Andrea, “I love anything slouchy and comfortable”, making the Mia Naomi High Heel Tan Bootie a perfect fit. During a day dedicated to errunds, the blogger paired her Mia Naomi Booties with black skinny pants, a pancho, faux fur cowl, slouchy bag, and sunnies — the perfect match up for a lazy yet chic day. We admire Andrea of Blonde Bedhead for her continuously impressive style choices, especially when it comes to her footwear.
You too can get the look with the Naomi High Heel Tan Booties and pair them with skinnies, a maxi skirt, or shorts and tights: the possibilities are endless for high heeled booties this fall.
